How to cook steak on Stove?

how to cook steak on stove

Hello, Today I will show you a step-by-step guide on how to cook steak on Stove.
Here are the ingredients I use for my pan seared steaks:
1. Kosher salt 2. Black pepper 3. Butter 4. Garlic 5. Spray oil Here is the step-by-step process that I use to make my pan seared steaks just perfect: 1. Buy the steaks four to Five days just before we are going to cook them.
2. I seal the steaks perfectly and let it sit in the refrigerator for four to five days.
3. Now after four to five days take the steaks out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before going to cook it.
4. Preheat the oven up to 275 degrees.
5. Cover the steaks on all the four sides by kosher salt.
5a. Add black pepper to all sides of the steaks.
6. Put foil in a baking dish and also spray it with oil.
7. Now Put the steaks in the baking dish and put the meat thermometer in one of the steaks to measure its temperature.
8. Bake it until the internal temperature of the steaks goes up to 125 degrees (about thirty-forty minutes).
8a. At the time when the steaks are cooking in the oven, melt one stick of butter and mix with minced garlic.
9. Take the steaks outside of the oven.
10. Spray a large pan with oil and then set the burner to 'high' to sear the steaks.
11. When you see the oil starts to sizzle, carefully place the steaks in it.
12. Sear the each one of the four sides of steak for about forty-five seconds each (for medium-rare to medium).
13. When you take the steaks out of the pan, then slice one of them to check whether it is done to your taste or not.
14. Now spread garlic and butter on both sides of the stakes.
As a side to the perfect oven baked steaks, we usually have steamed asparagus with sea salt; or steamed green beans with garlic, dill, salt and spray oil.
You may also use some extra butter and garlic mix to sprinkle on your veggie side of choice. Now your perfect steak cooked in the stove is ready to eat

INGREDIENTS

2 beef steaks, at least 1-inch thick
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
2 tablespoons softened butter
1-2 cloves garlic, minced

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Remove steaks from refrigerator and any packaging and let sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.

2. Rub each side with the olive oil to coat. Combine the salt, pepper, and onion powder in a small bowl. Rub both sides of each steak with the rub mixture.

3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Preheat a heavy, oven-safe skillet over high heat until it is smoking hot. Sear steaks in the hot pan for 2-3 minutes per side. If the steak has a side of fat, turn the steak onto its side and render the fat by searing it for 2-3 minutes as well.

4. Slide the skillet with the seared steaks in it into the oven to finish cooking. Remove the steaks from the oven 5 degrees before the desired level of doneness is achieved, or 130 degrees F for medium rare.

5. While the steaks are cooking, use a fork to combine the butter with garlic in a small bowl.

6. When the steaks are removed from the grill, immediately top with 1 tablespoon of the butter mixture and allow the steaks to rest 10 minutes before cutting into them. The temperature of the steak will continue to rise as it rests by about 5 degrees.
